Internships
When the Bioinformatics Program was formed a few biotech and informatics companies in the La Jolla Mesa expressed keen interest in participating in the program. This has grown considerably with more students participating in  internships.  Students have the opportunity to do internships in the local bioinformatics/biotechnology industry if the thesis project is of mutual interest to a corporate sponsor and the thesis advisors.

For more information about internships, please contact the Bioinformatics Student Affairs Office.
